Company Profile Company Profile: Hometown Propane Partners, LLC.
We are a value and growth oriented company, managed by energy industry veterans focused on providing long-term consistent performance. The company sells, distributes, and markets energy to the end user. Propane is our core energy product.
Most of our target customers live in rural towns and depend on propane for water heating, cooking, clothes drying, pool heating and home heating. Many of these new developments that we service are being built in towns that do not have natural gas availability. Builders are faced with two fuel options for their clients- Propane or Oil. Of the two fuels Propane provides the end user almost all of the features and benefits of natural gas that they are used too. The primary difference is that propane companies must provide propane storage tanks and deliver the propane when required. Because the builder or end user does not have to pay for the tank, often propane is the preferred fuel.
Hometown Propane’s builders program provides propane tanks for each new dwelling built, Hometown retains ownership of the tank, and this allows the builder to provide an all propane gas home, which in turn provides the builder and his customer savings by eliminating the cost of a fuel tank and the space inside the house that an oil tank would require. The customer also can have all gas appliances, which they typically prefer.
Hometown Propane’s residential customer program provides propane gas tanks when the individual customer purchases a propane water heater, dryer, range. The company sizes the tank for the propane gas load and installs the tank at the customer’s home. Hometown Propane will either connect into the plumbers piping or we will contract out the piping to a gas fitter or plumber and have the plumber or gas fitter charge the customer directly. Hometown Propane only wants to sell propane and charge related fees associated with the delivery of propane gas.
Pool Heater customers are an important target for Hometown Propane, basically they use on average approximately 400 gallons of propane per year.
